Current Rig

I have made huge changes to my guitar rig. I once used two GCX audio switches with a MIDI-controlled mixer to route all my effects. I abandoned this setup and sold the items to buy a Fractal Audio Axe-Fx Ultra. My rig is much simpler now, yet much more versatile.

JRFarmer Rack Interface v1.0

This is a crappy rack unit that I whipped together. It provides the two inputs into my guitar rig. It also provides a MIDI feed-through for my MIDI controller pedal and places the 9VAC phantom power on the proper MIDI pins for the controller.

v2.0 will be well thought-out and much more attractive that v1.0.

Wilkinson VSVG bridge
Grovers Locking tuners
Roller string trees for D/G and B/E

Changed the controls layout. Now it has one master volume, one master tone, and the hole closest to the bridge is left unfilled.

2003 Mexican Fender Stratocaster

More photos here: http://picasaweb.google.com/JRFarmer.com/2003FenderStratocasterMIM

Purchased Nov. 2007 for $150: it had an aftermarket pearloid pickguard, wine red with matte finish and black electronics and a rosewood fingerboard. The seller complained of excessive noise from the pickups.

This guitar has a piezo (acoustic) bridge, with a stereo output jack. The Lace pickups are on the tip, the acoustic pickup is on the ring, however a mini-toggle switch puts the acoustic on the tip for use in mono setups.

Mods:
LRBaggs X-Bridge
Grover Locking Tuners
Roller string trees for D/G and B/E
Tusq Nut
Schaller Strap Locks
Lace Sensor pickups: Blue (neck), Silver (middle) and Red (bridge)
Black pickguard
Changed the controls layout. Now it has one master volume, one tone (for neck and middle pickups).

It's a 2nd, and I have no clue what model guitar this is. It has a Fat-Strat style pickup configuration (H-S-S). I replaced the Gibson Dirty Finger bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates and replaced the single coils with Lace Sensor Golds.

1998 Epiphone Les Paul Standard

JRFarmer Mods:
Replaced tuners with Grover Locking tuners.
Replaced the nut with Tusq.
Replaced the pickups with GFS Vintage '59s.
Replaced the controls with a stock set from a 2007 Gibson Les Paul.
Replaced the control knobs with cream knobs to match the rest of the guitar
